No-Tell-Em Lake

So after work this afternoon i threw the john-boat in the back of my truck and drove.  Through the middle of nowhere i bumped, bounced, and boogied down highways, gravel roads, and overgrown trails.  I finally pulled down to the lake and on my first cast i didn’t catch anything.  On my second, i hooked a fish.  The third didn’t produce anything, but i finally caught my first bass of the night on the fourth cast.  The little bait-fish i threw continued to produce until the mosquitoes insisted i leave.  On this calm evening i caught and released eight beautiful fish.

The Garden

If you plant a garden in the spring, you will have crops to harvest in the fall.

The bridge is done

Yesterday we headed up to Madeline Island and installed the bridge.  It looks pretty great and went back together flawlessly.  Other than that, i could have been in Russian right now if i had taken the job opportunity of working with The Conservation Angler.  … I guess Wisconsin is a close second.
