Working in Seeley Wisconsin now as a log home builder/re-modeler with my parents’s business, ”The Natural – Log Homes”. Our most recently completed project is a walking bridge for a couple on Madeline Island. The Western Red Cedar decking, large horizontal logs, and vertical posts blend perfectly with the Northern White Cedar knee-braces and horizontal cross members.
In the spring of 2009 we completed another walking bridge at the Cedar Island Concervancy on the Brule River. This bridge links Cedar Island Lodge with the mainland and was re-built to match historic dimensions. In the summer of 1928 President Coolidge spent the summer on these grounds and multiple presidents have fished the waters under our bridge. This rustic Adirondack-style bridge with a Wisconsin spin will hopefully be around for the next presidential visit.

The below image was snapped just minutes after the last paint had been applied to these slabs after we installed the windows and replaced rotten logs which had rotted away.

So, Donovan! How about a picture of our log cabin that YOU built!? We think it is the best ever!
YES – Aunt Kris’ cabin IS the BEST!!
Ohhh I love that woodshed. I could LIVE IN that thing!
